Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM takes place annually, usually around February in the Loft.

The AGM is your opportunity to find out about and take part in the democratic running of UGMSU. 

It's your opportunity to discuss your views with other members, vote on motions and quiz the President.

The meeting will run as follows: - 

AGM Agenda

1.  Welcome and introduction to UGMSU 

2.  Minutes of the previous meeting for approval

3.  UGMSU Annual Report  

4.  SU President's Report

5.  Consolidatied UGMSU Accounts

6.  Affiliations (including any fee paid to such organisation)

7.  Motions and any proposed amendments to Motions

8.  Open Idea session/question time

9.  Any other business

Every student at the University of Greater Manchester is invited and encouraged to attend. Just remember to bring your Student ID card as it will be required on entry.

Proposing a Motion 

Motions can be submitted by any student.  Its a way to tell us what you think the Union should be doing. For more info on Motions check out our guide
